What idiot thought this was okay to do? This is what happens when American developers take over Japanese franchises! WORTHLESS!

Don’t expect the gaming community to lie down and praise the developers of this game. It hasn’t happened and it won’t happen any time soon. This game is moderately unadorned but it gets a few things right. For example, when you crack an enemy with a bat – it sounds excellent. Then you can walk up to him and overhand smash him with a bat and watch the bat splinter apart. I can’t help it. I like the sound effects of bats smashing over people. Hitting enemies in this game is downright fun. The hits are solid. If you knock an enemy down you can stomp them to death. The game will not allow the enemy to get to his feet as long as there are no other enemies hitting you. You can just beat them to death. The voice of the main character is hilarious. Some of the extras are o.k. You get the ancient Final Fight arcade version and an arcade update on this platform. It’s fun beating people around in this game. If you’re interested in taking a break from a game that requires brain potential this title will do just fine.

all i can say is if you like final fight for snes than you will like this game.

I would have rated this game lower if they had not included the original classic as an unlockable in this version. This updating of the Final Fight tale takes place a few years after the original. Crime is still rampant and there are still a few heroes willing to stand up to the thugs. The conundrum with this game is that they really wanted to appeal to the crowd that likes Grand Theft Auto’s gritty language and sexual inferences. That would be fine, since I like many mature sports meeting, but the creators seemed to reflect that non stop swearing makes a game gritty. Instead it gets ancient quickly. The fighting is not anything new, pretty much button mashing. The graphics are a bit choppy and the camera is often out of place so for a few seconds you can’t see your guy or the enemies. The tale is honest with not anything very original. I will keep this game so I can play to original over and over again. As for the new version, I reflect once is enough.

I thought by and large, this game was pretty excellent but it had so much more potential. This game should have been a full out 2 player game like the originals. The tale mode even has a feel to it as if they were effective on a two player mode and scratched the thought in the very end. Still, a fun game.
