this game sucks it not real drifting and the game play is pain. When doing drifts the cars do not react as they would in real life. A dissipate of cash.

Bought the Quick and the Furious game yesterday and HAVE BEEN BLOWN AWAY! As a drift racer in real life, this is THE GENUINE ARTICLE. Anyone who wants to get into drifting, NEEDS The Quick and the Furious! Leave the roll up races on the freeway and get drifting up in the Japanese mountains. You also need to know how to customise your car to make the most of the game. Its AWESOME! Give The Quick and the Furious a spin – learn about Drift Racing and smoke the opposition!

The game did not do the “Quick and the Furious” name credit. Visually to rough for the eyes, not charming. Sub par graphics. Did not feel any real sense of alacrity. Gald I didn’t pay $39.99…………………

I got this game for christ mas and I thought that it was Ancient. There are load time for every small thing, hot spots seem to take the longest to load. Then the auto save feature is so irritating, after you do any thing it saves and takes like to minutes to do so.
The gameplay is so completey on realistic. For starters, there are no hurt models. You can do anything to your car and not anything happens to it. Once I was racing at like two hundred miles an hour and I hit a car and I jumped. I mean literally jumped. It flipped all the way over to the other side of the road and I had to restar the race. And the cars handle like [...], this makes the drifting reallly hard. The cars do not react like they should, meaning that the racing in genaral is kind of frustrating. When you are are driving on the high way, or the wangan, there are litte things that come out of the wall and spin you around, this gets really irritating in the last couple of races on the highway where it seem s that if you make on samll msiake then you are definitly going to lose.
On the plus side the graphincs are excellent and the musiv is jammin and in conclusion I say that namco should work harder on ghre newer sports meeting.
P.S.
I have one last complanit, After you win bosses car’s you can not upgrade them further, this gets really irritating when you win a car with alot of potential, but you can’t make it got that extra mile to make the car one of the best in the game, all in all I despised this game, but I thinhk that you should rent before youy buy.

I got this game the day it came out and so far it’s ok. I thought it would have more like a NFS feel to it, but it more closely feels like the Tokyo Xtreme Racer titles. That’s not really a terrible thing though b/c I delight in the Tokyo titles. I don’t reflect it’s worth $40 though. For half that it would be well worth it. But I am enjoying it though so I don’t feel too cheated although I was disappointed in the feel of the game. So far all I have been doing is driving around finding shops and such and finding roll up racers by the side of the highway…meaning you do the same thing as in the Tokyo sports meeting…find a racer driving by the side of the highway, come up behind him and flash the lights at him to accept the challenge…then you’re racing and trying to get so far ahead of him. I also found that at certain points by the side of the highways, you take a left into racing hotspots where rival crews await you to challenge them. Once you beat the crew members…usually around 4 guys…you get to challenge their boss. If you win, you get his/her car. That’s a nice plus indeed although you can’t modify their cars further. Graphics aren’t too shabby but not the best either. Also, when racing, the screen is really rough and jumpy. I prefer a charming race screen. Not terrible game, but not super either. If cash is tight, just go get similar titles such as Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 or Zero or even Drift which are pretty excellent sports meeting and wait for this title to go down in price. Also, if you are looking for an NFS stylishness racing title, look elsewhere.
