I own the John Deere series and this game is just a bit more on the honest side. That’s what I like about this sim. In the John Deere guide sim it’s simpler to run tractors and you have a clear cut objective. This sim you have to have a small better understanding of farming and what fields need.
Graphically this game is superior to Deere. Everything about this game says honest farm sim, right up to grown-up looking tractors and dirt. I have also visited Mod sites where you can download other tractors but I have yet to master that part and am still learning.
This game has a bit of a tendency to freeze and crash, or run slow with an inferior computer. I am in the proces of getting a better computer so this game will go on that one and will more than likely run better.
This is still a splendid game….and if you have a newer computer and you like everything farming, then you should buy this game.

The game is very amusing, my brothers play it all the time and they had to do a shedule to be equal.
I also live on a farm in Canada, where we use Fendt like in the game. Also I agree with the note that the size is europeen sized. But this don’t matter.
Only point that I dislike is that we can’t choose the language, we prefered German, since the game comes from germany.
The service is also excellent.

I live and work on a farm in so I have some knowledge on real farming. I have played every farming game from SimFarm to the recent John Deere Series. I am in fact a huge John Deere fan but their sports meeting are not anything compared to this. The graphics are impressive for a game of this type and the realism is impressive. I am an American Farmer so one of the complaints I do have about this is that it is based on European farms and equipment, but more equipment, including some American pieces, can be downloaded for free. Unfortunatly, there is no domestic animals in the game, which was disapointing. By and large this is a splendid game which is in fact more fun than real farming is most of the time.
