“Family Feud” is a fun game show that pits families against each other, and they are required to answer survey questions and come up with the most well loved answers. Now having it released a portable version, it is fun, like the game show, but it has many flaws, making it frustrating.
PROS
-The survey questions are fun to answer.
-It is splendid if you just need a quick game to play.
-Fun to play with multiple players.
-You can customize a family to match your family.
CONS
-Very few questions (probable 100-200) not the “over 1,000″ that the box says.
-Some answers are just crazy.
-You must say the exact answer or it won’t be counted as a right answer.
-There aren’t many options to customize families, and when you customize one, you cannot save it for when you play the game later.
-The computer is not smart at all, making the game quite simple.
Also, although the sounds in the game are slightly like the TV, there isn’t much music. Also, the graphics are OK, not terrible or excellent, just OK. This is a fun game that is splendid for a quick play, and it might be worth it if you can get it cheap. If not, then this game probably deserves a pass.

I was really looking forward to getting Family Feud since I used to watch the TV show. The game can be fun at time but the fusturation ruins the game. The answers have to be exact to count. One question questioned something that can get on your windshield. I said “bugs” and got an X. The computer says bug which is the top answer on the penetrate. For a modern game to not be programmed to allow slight variations is irritating.
Even worse is some of the answers on the top answer penetrate. Many don’t even make sense and nearly seem like they are made up. One that stands out is to answer something twin boys might share growing up. One of the answers on the penetrate is a girlfriend! There are many type of answers that will confuse you.
The game claims to have 1000 different questions yet I have gotten many repeats only after a few weeks of owning the game.
I was expecting a much better game.

I have played alot of computer verisons of family feud, all the way back to the commodore 64! I got a gameboy after I had surgery and I was looking for some sports meeting that I would delight in, since I am not into the role playing type of sports meeting.
My largest peeve with the game and all the prior editions is that there is no spell check and you have to type so quick to get the answers in time. Not anything is more frustrating then having the right answer but one letter is mistyped.
I still reflect the game is fun. For an adult it passes the time when waiting at the dr’s office, or waiting to pick up kids. It is sure better then the early verisons but not exact yet!

I loved Family Feud and was very excited to get this game.. it was a huge disappointment! The description says “features the voice and likeness of your favorite game show host!” The “host” doesn’t look like any of the past hosts and all of the questions are typed – there’s no “voice”. It takes forever to get to the question, and then if you don’t type it exactly the way the game has it typed you get it incorrect. You can customize your “family” but it doesn’t save the changes, so why bother. I’d say don’t bother with the game at all.
