Bought it, played it and finished the whole thing in less than 3 hours. I chose NOT to give it to my 7 year ancient daughter because I reflect she would find the mini sports meeting to be too hard. Also….when you are doing the yard sale, you have to match customers to your inventory by figuring out the clues you are given. I don’t know if younger players would get all the references made in the clues. I give it 2 stars because decorating my house was kinda fun. But if you like THAT aspect of it….try Presume Interior Design for the DS. Much longer game and satisfies the decorating bug.

This had the potential to be a fun game. It really did. But, alas, it is not.
The seek and find parts are really nearly painfully simple. I reflect I used a hint twice and one of those times was by accident when I hit the A button. The mini-sports meeting are o.k. – I liked the box and the place the dish together one. I gotta admit the puzzle one is frustrating. Not because it is so hard but because you have to wait FOREVER to have it reset itself. If there is a way to reset it I can’t find it..so I was building away, realized I made a incorrect go and then had to wait and wait and wait for the water to finally end so it would reset the puzzle. This pipe puzzle needed to come with a reset!
The yard sale mini gamey part was quite fun. The clues weren’t too terrible and it in fact had a nice level of challenge to get things sold by the time you are out of time. Cool! Like the haggling part too!
In terms of sound I didn’t even realize this had any music it was so obviously blah. I got to about 80% and then had a technical freeze. Since I wasn’t having too much fun I shut it off. I will be returning it. I can only hope they don’t have any more so I don’t have to just replace the game.
My 2 star rating reflects that I don’t reflect it is so dreadful you should run from it but certainly there are many other better sports meeting for your DS dollars. Only the staunchest seek and find collector or enthusiast who has already played all the ones available on the DS should net this one for his/her pool. The rest of you all can pass on by and keep looking.

I am an adult who has owned my Nintendo DS for 2 years. I delight in puzzle sports meeting, hidden object and match3 sports meeting. My husband bought me several sports meeting for Christmas, one of them was “Fabulous Finds.” I finished the first sports meeting and then reached the “pipe” minigames. I don’t really like this type of sports meeting and have tried over and over and over the last month to no avail. You can only take the bottom pipe one at time and you might need one of the pipes in the middle of the stack. Also the amount of time you are given is ridiculous. Usually, in other sports meeting of this sort when it realizes that you are not “getting it,” it will offer to let to let you “skip” the one game and you forfeit a couple of minutes of the time you have to complete that level.
Yesterday, I called the tech department of THQ (company that makes “Fabulous Finds) hoping that there would be some kind of code that could be entered to let me skip the pipe game. Needless to say, I was informed by the “tech specialist” (yeah right) that I was on my own to figure out the puzzle. I told him that we paid $20.00 for a game that has a level that I cannot do and cannot continue the game because of that….meaning this game is now useless to me, to which he answered “That’s Right.” He never offered to do anything for me (the customer USED to be right) and I cannot return this game to where we bought it, because it was opened. I did advise him that I would write a review so that others like me won’t get stuck with a useless game and I would, in the future reflect twice before buying another game title from THQ!!!

This could have been a fun game. I don’t reflect it was developed enough though, too simple, finished it withing a couple hours. Guess I’ll pass it on to a friends 7 y/o daughter.

I agree with the first reviewer, this game is not challenging at all. It is very simple and you basically can beat the game in a few hours. You can’t go back and play any level when you win either. You have to erase the slot and start over. Kids may like this game, I gave it to my neighbor (she is 10) and she really enjoys it.
