Forget what Daniel Simpson said, J.A. Vanroekel is 100% right, Nothingness is the first in the Elder Scrolls series to be made for Xbox 1st and PC 2nd in mind, and he is right, compared to Arena, Daggerfall and Morrowind, Nothingness is a watered down version of it’s brothers, and it is sad that the PC user pay the ultimate price in the end. But again, it’s our own fault, prob ? the PC players copied or burned the game, so Xbox sales of Morrowind was more vital then the PC, so they got more cash from Xbox, they would be stupid not to aim the new game to where it’s more lucrative.
Obviously Daniel Simpson is a Xbox player, and is pleased to get Nothingness tailored to his gaming experience, excellent for him, but for the ancient PC timers, the fans from the original Arena and up, it’s a hard hit, but again, they are the only one that can be blamed for this, BUY the game, NEVER, copy or burn it, if you do, you are part of the conundrum, if all the PC player would buy their sports meeting in the first place, we would not be here arguing about it.

I received this game on Friday the 24th of March. My computer was running Intel extreme 3D onboard chipset. I changed the graphics out to a GeFORCE FX5500 PCI graphics card W/ 256mb DDR and its own proccessor. This game turned out to be unplayable, I couldn’t even develope a character. The opening sequence, the audio was broken and the video was jerky. At another place, there were video artifacts. The graphics are kick ass fantastic, its just too terrible that this game was rushed to market before it was completed. Hopefully the Xbox version is better. Oh yeah, my pc is running a 2.53 ghz proccessor. Oh well, I still have alot to do in Morrowind.

40+ in game hours into this game, I a repeatedly save, delete previous save files, so that I do not have 50+ saved game files. The result of this: 40+ hours of my life have been spent in vain. I spent $45.00 on this game, and loved it, the graphics are incredible, the gameplay is incredibly fun. But, I will not support a game that causes me to lose 45 hours of my life effective for a purpose that was simply…degraded.

This is such an over-rated game, I bought a $149 NVidia video just in order to play this game and now I can’t even manage to make myself end it. The graphics are really just pretty ordinary; if you’ve seen one cave, you’ve seen them all, sorta like the predecessor, Morrowind. Certainly not anything to rave about.
On the other hand, the game Prey by 2K Sports meeting is just incredible. The graphics and innovative game play are really gorgeous and exciting. I have played the game owing to 4 times and it is just plain fun.
Also, another stellar game is Parasite: Bloodlines by Activision. The graphics are far superior to the graphics in Nothingness. Every room is bright and fascinating with BEAUTIFUL fascinating changes in every city, every room in the game. Kudos to the artists. The actors, particularly the black actors in the game are just outstanding. The dialog is hilarious and will have you laughing out loud. The music (as someone said on a forum) makes you want to get out of your preside over and dance around the room. For a while, Best Buy had a version of Parasite: Bloodlines by Activision with a cd sound track included…THAT’S how excellent the music is in this game.
Don’t dissipate your cash on Nothingness. It’s a snoozer of a game DEVOID of ANY fun. (I’m an avid long time PC gamer with a lot of gaming experience. JMHO)
