This item is smaller than you might reflect and the cartridges fit awkwardly in the slots.
For the same price, you can buy the full size carry case that holds the DS, the charger, the same number of cartridges (with a better fit), and has a belt for ease of carrying.
This case should be priced in the $5 range. If so I might give it three stars.

This small game card holder is very nice. I am new to using devises like the DSi, and felt that if I was going to get into this form of technology, I should buy several sports meeting. I wanted one area to keep all the small cards. So far this has done the job. It will hold up to 20 cards, for me, that is more than ample room. The sections which hold the cards are a bit tight which makes it a small hard to insert them and to remove them, but it also keeps them from slipping out. I did not rate this card case as a 5 because there is a small pocket on the outside which is a bit weird. The way it is designed there is a pleat in it, and the zipper then does not zip all the way across the pocket. Therefore it does not close completely. If you were to place change or any kind of coins in the pocket, they could fall out. I just have not figured out why that pocket is designed as it is. If you were to possibly slip another game card or two into that pocket, I believe they would not fall out, but I can still see no reason for having an open gap. The item was received in excellent condition and the time of receipt from the time of order was very excellent. As I said, I am new the this gaming ’stuff’ so when I ordered the DSi, I ordered all the ‘extras’ I thought I would need after reading reveiws from others on the items. This was just one of those extras, and so far I am pleased with it.
