Product Description
Your search for a Nintendo DSi XL case, skin, or cover is now over. ZAGG’s invisibleSHIELD is an exceptionally clear and virtually indestructible film that will protect your Nintendo DSi XL from unsightly scratches. Our exclusive, patented film – with nano-memory technology – covers and shields your device, keeping it as pristine as the day you took it out of the box. The precision pre-cut invisibleSHIELD applies directly to your Nintendo DSi XL, providing the toughest, most durable protection you will find. The invisibleSHIELD has its origins in the military, where it was used to protect high-alacrity helicopter blades from dust, dirt and debris. Now you can use that same powerful technology to protect your Nintendo DSi XL. The invisibleSHIELD is only .2 millimeters thick making it the slimmest Nintendo DSi XL skin or cover of its kind. It is so tough that we back it with a lifetime guarantee. So, if it ever does wear or scratch, we will replace it for free, for the life of your device. And if you ever need to remove the invisibleSHIELD, no conundrum; it comes off clean and leaves no sticky residue. If you’re still not convinced, check out our demo video and see for yourself how strong ZAGG’s invisibleSHIELD really is.

One of the main issues I have with the DSi XL is that it is a fingerprint magnet. Also, even though the shiny lid is very attractive, it looks as if it can scratch easily. Therefore, I wanted something to protect the outside of the device. This turned out to be a high price to pay to diminish the fingerprints and protect the lid. But to me, it is worth it. The shield is shiny so it doesn’t make the DSi XL appear dull. It also comes with protectors to cover the bottom of the DSi XL. I useful those and I am keeping them on, even though I don’t feel like the bottom of the DSi XL needs as much protection as the shiny lid.
The product comes with screen protectors as well. I useful them, but removed them just a couple of weeks later because there were imperfections on the screen that were distracting to me. I finished up buying Nintendo DSi XL Screen Protective Filter because they are cheaper and I have used that brand to protect my DS and DS lite in the past, and I am much more pleased with the results. Screen protectors in general are a pain to install, but if you do it right, they are really worth it. If you mess up, then it’s like burning cash.
In conclusion, this is an expensive way to protect your DSi XL but if you apply it the right way, then it is absolutely worth it. For those who dislike fingerprints like myself, then it is a splendid solution. Despite my terrible experience with the screen protectors, I would buy this brand again to protect other electronic devices.
