There is no question about the Nintendo since its release back in 2004. It has certainly shown to be one of the most revolutionary game systems on the go. While it has had many incarnations that’ve expanded the system well like the Nintendo DS Lite all the way to the Nintendo DSi XL which was released earlier this year, Nintendo has not only had the best in gamers for the system, but the strongest of accessories as well. This Nintendo DS Stylus & Screen Protector Kit handles very well with a strong and unadorned method of way we play video sports meeting on the go. The system stylus works very well with all versions of the Nintendo DS, is simple to use, but doesn’t hold in any of the Nintendo DS stylus pocket compartments in any of the versions, so you’d still have to get an accessory holder to store the stylus pens. Not only that, but for the screen protectors, they don’t fully handle well so once you place them on, you honestly wouldn’t be able to take it off. Once you take it off, it can certainly scratch the system screen. So, make sure you have it on properly. Still, if you honestly go for an accessory, stick with the ones that Nintendo would certainly recommend, because that would be your best bet.

With all the success of the Nintendo DS and the DSi since it originally developed in 2004, many gamers have always looked at Nintendo for the joy and excitement that Nintendo has developed within their sports meeting, but also the strength they’ve shown in their best accessories. That also comes with these Nintendo DS Stylus Pens and protective screen kit. The stylus pens alone handle very well with each version of the Nintendo DS, including the new DSi XL. But, once you peel and glue the screen portectors, they work well, but it tears the screen once you place them on (if you’ve not place them on straight.) Still, when it does come doen to accessories, I still recommend Nintendo for what they do at their best for all their customers, and what makes their sports meeting stand the strongest.

This stylus is the best stylus I have ever used! It is the size of a full pen, a nice thick one. It is built just like a pen, and comes with a very nice rubber grip. This stylus is just a hair taller than a soda can, measuring 5 1/2 inches long with a diameter of 1/2 inch (I measured the diameter of the colored cylinder section).
This stylus feels solid even though it is made completely of plastic (except the internal spring) so it does not have the weight of the fancier metal pens. The plastic tip unscrews from the rubber grip section. There is a typical pen spring inside, with what looks like an ink tube that has the plastic stylus tip attached to the end rather than being filled with ink and having a ball-point tip. The stylus tip fits snugly in the opening and does not wobble at all. It is also nicely rounded so there is no dread of tearing or scratching the screen or screen protector.
Nintendo maintains their high standards with stamping their seal on this stylus. The Official Nintendo Seal is right on the front of the package to let you know. The only things I reflect could increase this pen would be a metal clip instead of the plastic, and a small added weight. Not really an issue, but I like things to be a small heavier. This is truly a quality product.
If you find the mini stylus that comes with the Nintendo DS Lite, or DSi to be too small, and the larger stylus that comes with the Nintendo DSi to be better but not quite there, then this one is for you! This is a step up, and is about the best you can get.
Note: The screen protectors fit the Nintendo DS Lite and DSi, but not the DSi XL or LL.
