You are Tanner, an undercover cop who must infiltrate a powerful crime syndicate by posing as an expert getaway driver. You’ll hit the streets in three different cities: Miami, New York, and Los Angeles. Your job is to complete a variety of objectives as you alacrity, slide, and out-guide owing to more than 30 missions of overhead action. Be careful you don’t wreck your ride or get caught by the police roaming the streets though, or it’s Game Over. The overhead perspective gives you a large view of the area around you, so use it to your advantage to scope out what lies around the next turn. While it pales in comparison to its 3-D counterpart on the PlayStation, the developers of this 2-D Game Boy version of the hit game Driver have managed to re-make much of the action and excitement that made the original game a sleeper hit. Slip into the role of a getaway driver and race owing to a crowded city environment in this quick-action racer.
As with the PlayStation version, you still guide a getaway car owing to busy city streets, only in this game you view the action from a top-down perspective and the graphics have taken a nosedive in quality (for obvious reasons). Weaving owing to traffic and screeching around corners is as fun as it ever was, regardless of the low-detail levels. Whether you were a fan of the original version or just like driving sports meeting, Driver is a splendid way to hit the road when you’re on the go. –T. Byrl Baker

This game used to be splendid,with splendid places to find and the missions,me and my friend callum(we aint friends no more)used to stay out abit late and play this game(he also used to hog with the game)looking for secret passage ways,people(by the way i found out there arnt people except on the first mission) and ways to hurt police cars.the graphics arnt the worst on a game boy game and on T-A-R U get to search thru the cities,ram other cars,irritate the cops and i also loved making up codes so i can get different missions.by and large i don`t own it in fact i never owned it it was my ancient friend Lewis,hu let me and callum borrow it as many times as we wanted i do miss playing on the game some times but i know if i play on it i stop after 10 minutes. I bought this for my 6 yr ancient who masters sports meeting. He has ps1, ps2 ,game boy affect and game boy advanced. He despises this game. Its hard to control, it came with out instructions ( which I knew buying it used) but I figured how hard could a driving game be? Its hard- dont buy this for your small outcome ( under
because Im an adult and I couldnt get it to guide straight or do what I wanted it to either.

This game is one of the worst sports meeting I’ve ever played and I’ve played a lot of terrible sports meeting. Do not buy it. I wasted thirty dollars on it.
