This game is compareable to BT2. I must say. Not exact as btk3 which had massive combos that you could easily when by chain attack. I was dissappointed that it wasn’t added on here, but thinking about it could of place in a disadvantage for those who could clear out this game by chaining combos like bt3 on a novice player.
The game is splendid by and large. Some minor problems I want to add. Less combos than BT3. Your not able to pull off huge combos and everything is cut when it comes to the combo factor which really suffers to me. Lack of characters than BT3. This conundrum isn’t a major one to me seeing how you have ssj3 vegeta and broly which is more of an incredible “newness”. Graphics are incredible to me imo. I due wish that the beams and ki blast were more graphicly detailed and more adapt to BT3. Theirs not enough umph to the game when you compare it to bt3. I want to inform you not to compare it to BT3. By doing so you will know that this is a new realm that the creators are trying out. I due reflect that the game will be coming on the ps3 console that DBZ fans been wanting for so long and yes it will be in the realm of raging blast. Perhaps RB2 or RB3, but it’s coming Online gaming is incredibly fun. I experianced no conundrum with it and loved it greatly.
I want to see more characters: including turles gang, garlic jr spice boys and other out of game characters.
p.s. watch out for people using buu online. they spam his go. lol

I like this game! it’s freaking incredible, I have owned or at least played different Dragon Ball sports meeting like this one, but this one is by far the BEST! I like it so much I chose to dedicate my first review on amazon to it! I reflect everyone who is a fan, or just like 3D fighting sports meeting to buy or at least try to play this game. You will fall in like too!!

If your a fan of the Dragonball Z tenkaichi sports meeting, then you will have a excellent time with this game. The only down hills in this game, are the fact that you can’t use ultimate gohan and there are like 10 vital characters missing from the game and the tale mode is really long. And goku’s Dragon fist is not in the game. Other than that this game is still fun, I give this game a 5/5.

This is the best DBZ game Ive ever played since DBZ Super sonic Warriors. This game is high alacrity action packed greatness. I just brought this yesterday and I’am loving it. You have over 70 character’s in this game, and there all very splendid. Also? Their’s SS3 Vegeta and SS3 Broly in this game in what if mode. Their’s destructable enviorment’s were you can beat your oppenet half asinine. In fact? Full asinine. This doesn’t have GT or DB character’s just the fresh DBZ character’s.
This game has the Sayian saga, Frieza saga, Bardock saga, Android saga, and the Buu saga. Then their’s the legendary super sayian saga and what if saga. What if saga is basically a saga where you do something that never happened in the serie’s. For example. Their was never a SS3 Vegeta nor SS3 Broly in the DBZ movie’s or serie’s. Vageito and Gogeta never had a fight in the serie’s either. And then kid trunk’s never faced his future self either, and so on and so on. All that is in The what if saga.
Then You unlock SS3 Vegeta and SS3 Broly and you get to fight as them. Their’s Museum where you can view the character’s information and play their voice’s and show replay’s of the battle’s you did with the Computer or friend you played in versus mode. Dojo is where you train to get better and learn attack’s. Online mode is splendid too. There’s world tournament where you can fight up to 16 player’s. There’s Super battle Trial where you fight ranked matches. This game is extreamly fun and you won’t get bored of it. Buy this game.

As a DBZ fan, when I first heared of this game I couldn’t wait to play it. And after a month of digging up as much info as I could, my hype for it was swaying up and down. This game is the best DBZ game for PS3, after the joke that was Burst Limit. There are many things that make this game worthy of it’s price, but other flaws that kill it’s potential. I’ll start with the excellent things:
Pros:
Graphics are unbelievable. Very all ears and quick. The ki blasts could use a small work, but they aren’t terrible, they’re excellent enough.
They follow the tale line well. And have a excellent amount of Battles to go with each saga.
Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta/Broly!
Tons of other fun modes: Tale, Versus, Touney, Dragonball pool, Destruction, Team battle, Survival, K.O. Challange and a couple more.
Cons:
During battles in tale modes, there is dialog from the anime being played. This kinda ruins the intensity of the fight, (Ex: During the fight with Jeice and Vegeta, the dialog of Jeice was being played, while in the battle I hit him with an ultimate attack. There’s no way Jeice would be talking smack after Vegeta used Huge Bang on him.)
For those who aren’t too excellent with hand/eye coordination: The controls are funky, having to press 2 buttons at once just to elivate, Sway from punches and make quick counter attacks. This wasn’t necissarily a conundrum for me, but I can know how some people may find it hard.
As awesomely fun as the game is, it’s just not long enough. I started playing at 3 on a Saturday and was done by Sunday night (this was with breaks to have quick versus sports meeting with characters I’d unlocked). Also, in the “What If” section, some of the scenarios they came up with were just plain lousy (ex: Trunks and Vegeta vs. Goten and Goku all because of a peice of sweetie).
Not enough Characters. After BT3, I was hoping to have more than 70 characters. It’s not the worst, but still, I’d like to have: Garlic Jr, King Vegeta, King Cold, Master Roshi, Uub, Pui Pui, Dabura, Hercule, etc…
This last one isn’t really a flaw, more of a personal peeve. After unlocking all the characters I positioned certain ones against eachother in Versus (ex: Bardock/Goku, Krillin/18, Gohan/Goku, Goten, Videl, Bardock, Vegeta/Teen Trunks, Trunks w/sword, Kid Trunks, and most of them have the one opening dialog, which kinda sucks. I’ve place Krillin and 18 together about 6 times and they always open with the same shape, it needs variaty in there.
That’s about it. By and large, you see what I rated the game. I reflect it’s worth the price, because it’s very addictive. It’s even better if you have some friends that want to play Versus with you for a couple of hours. Much fun, get it and delight in it while you can.
