I’m a huge Donkey Kong Country fan, but this game makes me absolutely sick to my stomach. The graphics are horrible, the sound is sorry, and the black and white screen just makes me want to vomit again and again.
I despise this game so much that I made a promise to myself that I would never pop that hideous golden-haired cartridge back in my Game Boy ever again. Ignore this and get into the Donkey Kong Country series instead.

This game stunk in nearly everything, from graphics to sound to gameplay to controls. It was too hard to play due to the fact that the graphics were too poor. It was too hard to see if there were any secret entrances. Plus the controls weren’t splendid either. It was a small hard to control DK. This game was excellent when i first bought it, but than got dull to the point that i finished up selling it. I regret the day i ever brought this game.I’d rather buy DK Country 1 than this piece of junk. In my opinion, this was the worst Donkey Kong game ever made.

This game wasn’t all that terrible. The Graphics were poor to the point that i couldn’t see any secret areas. The controls were very excellent. The concept was splendid and the game (minus the graphics) itself was splendid, but the graphics messed it up. I hope Rare re-makes this game for the advance, for it could be a major hit.

This game is ok. One thing I despise about this game is it only has about three colors, when sports meeting like Men In Black use all 56 colors th Gameboy Affect has to offer.

I have to say this game is pretty underrated. Yes, it’s hard to see on a ancient gameboy screen but that’s why it has the “Super Gameboy logo” on it. The video game itself had excellent gameplay and decent controls. There are a few things about this game that make it stand out though.
1. It’s not a clone to DKC : Unlike the sequels, this game takes place in entirely new areas than it’s snes counterpart. Dk and Diddy go into the clouds, a city, coco island (Mario Kart 64 looking lever) and an underwater temple. A few of the bosses are the same but others have been added it.
2. Dk/Diddy Coins: There are these eerie coins to collect that have our hero’s faces on them. I’m not sure what there for, but I reflect it has something to due if you beat the game 101%.
3. “KONG” now save your game and no outside help: Cranky, Funky and Sweetie are not in the game. I believe this was to make the game a challenge. Also, to save your game, you must collect all for Kong letters.
By and large, this was not what i expected. i thought it would just be a somewhat clone of DKC. But what i got, was one of the most unique sports meeting ever.
