   There sometimes can really be such a thing that is too much. That has been the case in the music industry with artists like Britney Spears Rihanna, who have all been just about hype and overexposure, and not even any bit of heart. That sadly has been the same thing with High School Musical for the movies. It really has been too much of a franchise lately. While we’ve seen too much from Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Cordon Bleu, the franchise has also shown show much cracks, that makes us say that it has to go. Not only as a franchise, but Disney has made so many lackluster sports meeting based on the movie series that it is just sickening. Now they just want you to say dance to the Wii.

   High School Musical 3: Senior Year for the Nintendo Wii tries to capitalize on the overexposure of the Disney movie franchise, that feels like it is lacking heart, and something for the Wii that we’ve played before. The gameplay is not anything spectacular for gamers, and for those who’ve seen just too much of the movie series. The object of the game is that you play with the regular characters from the film, and try to go you way to the dance beats of the movie. While the graphics aren’t anything special, the gameplay feels like it lacks anything out of the ordinary. After awhile, not only d you get bored with the game, you just feel like it is just something that should be tossed away in the garbage.

   All in all, Disney has really cashed in too much with the High School Musical franchise, and honestly have made some of the worst video sports meeting that have been out there for a long time. nly hard core fans of the movie will be interested in High School Musical 3: Senior Year. But, as a game, it really feels like we’ve been danced out. All in all, if you really want a game to dance to, I’d suggest you buy Dance Dance Revolution instead.

   This game is the best EVER! You must buy it! It’s fun for the whole family or a challenging release player. Troy is so dreamy!

   Don’t believe any clear reviews….they are written by the company that produced this game. This is the worst game you could ever buy. Your kids will despise it!!! It doesn’t work at all….none of the Wii controls work and it will frustrate your kids for the 10 minutes they will dissipate on it before throwing it aside forever.

   This is a pure example of just trying to get your cash because of a well loved movie, but the product has the quality of a cheap 1970’s attempt at computer sports meeting. The graphics are a joke, the characters have not anything to do with the movie. They couldn’t even afford the real soundtrack, so it is done by “The Sound Alikes”. The directions were written by a teenager with no writing skills and no understanding of the game. But since the game doesn’t work and is useless, the directions are a excellent match for it.

   I will return it, or burn it, and will invest some of my time writing reviews to warn others against this cheap garbage that rips off kids and parents.

   This review applies to the Xbox 360 version of the game.

   I have never played a dancing video game(though, I do have experience with rhythm sports meeting in Guitar Hero. I don’t see how that’d help much in this case though) but I just felt as though this was too simple. I played the first time on the simplest difficulty level and I was getting A+s(the highest score) and even 100% on it without in fact trying. I was still scoring high on the second difficulty level. That might be because it is geared towards a younger consultation, but I felt as though I was somewhat wasting my time(I have started playing co-op with myself while playing on a traditional 360 controller as well as the dancemat just to raise the difficulty level for myself, I’m still scoring A+ grades so it doesn’t seem to be effective). There’s a lot of movement(obviously) so I wouldn’t recommend it if you have a disability of some sort. If you opt to use the 360 controller, it’s not that terrible though not as splendid.

   It’s pretty fun though. Especially if you’re a fan of the songs in movies. I have not viewed the third one yet, but there weren’t that many spoilers(you’ll know some of the scenes but besides the fact that it’s a “graduating from high school plot” not anything else is really given away). The fact that the original cast isn’t singing the songs is rather disappointing at first but I got over it after a few songs. The animations are kind of bone idle as well but you’ll be too busy dancing to pay too much attention to that.

   There’s a character creator in the game but I haven’t played around with that much. It seems pretty tedious from what I have experienced and mostly pointless. There’s also some cute personality quizzes that are also pretty pointless but they kill time so they might be fun if that’s your sort of thing.

   For a game that comes with the dancemat, I reflect it’s an brilliant regard for the price I paid($7.50). I wouldn’t have spent more than that though.

   My girls were so excited to be among the first to get this splendid game. The dancing is fun, and it is different enough from the other HSM wii game that they like to play both!
