This is a fun game, and I am an absolutely ridiculous age for such a thing! (48) But really, the voices of John Goodman and Billy Crystal carry on a challenging, bouncy, gifted game, like Crash Bandycoot, etc., but I can let my 8 year ancient nephew have it for hours, knowing he is going to have to figure it out, not kill cops and bleed on things to win. I am all for freedom of speech, press, inc, but Playstation and its counterparts are one area I prefer to have a excellent adventure, or a fun puzzle. I save my bloodthirst for HBO.

My 24-year-ancient brother bought me this game when I first got my PS2 one Christmas. At first, I loved it because the PS2’s graphics were new to me and the game presented some pretty cool effects. Though after the third or so level there was always that ‘thing’ that you couldn’t find and had to look up in a guide or spend hours looking for only to realize it’s in a place you passed dozens of times. There were also a lot of parts that required too precise of timing or perfection so you have to get used to having to do the same part over and over again. I prefer sports meeting that flow in a way that’s not too hard and too simple. Naturally though, I expect for farther parts in sports meeting to be hard (like boss battles and such) but for a game to constantly have you losing for a stupid reason like ‘they spotted you with a flash light for the billionth time’ gets irritating after awhile.
The only thing I /liked/ was Sulley’s occasional complaints about having to run so much.
By and large, I wouldn’t recommend this game to well…anyone. That being because it’ll obviously be frustrating for kids and grown-up players will also get mad at failing to pass a level in a Disney game. In addition, young adulthood being the way they are, might reflect the game too childish. Just stick with the movie.
