Contracted I never played the ancient version (other then the free computer trials).. but I certainly thought this was very entertaining! If you liked this game.. I recommend Hells Kitchen.. very similuar but you can in fact prep the food!

I’m a huge fan of the Cake Mania sports meeting so I thought I would try this one. I have the new DSi XL and thank goodness. The graphics are pretty dreadful on this game and I can’t presume trying to play on my ancient DS Lite. On the XL things are large enough to see, though still smaller than Cake Mania. The game play is much more hard than I expected. Cake Mania is slow compared to the pace of this game. Contracted I choose not to go onto the next level until I reach “Expert”. Otherwise you can go owing to it a small more easily if you are just going for the “Goal”.
The point of the game is to serve the customers as quickly as possible before they get upset. You want to keep their hearts as full to get the most points. There is a lot going on at one time in this game. No standing around bored like in Cake Mania. As the levels go up something new adds to the difficulty such as mopping up spills or smooching customers who yucky out the others. You just constantly run around trying to keep up with everybody. You have to seat the customer, take their order, send their order, pick up their order, deliver it, possibly do some other task(mop, get dessert, deliver a high preside over), give them their check, pick up the dishes, and place the dishes in the cart. Doing this with several tables at a time can get pretty hectic!
It is kind of asinine but I really like being able to change Flo’s wardrobe. It just gives you a breather in between levels. If you have no interest in that part of the game you can skip by it easily.
All in all I like this game. It is challenging but fun. Very addictive. Also, I highly recommend getting the DSi XL. It will make viewing all your sports meeting simpler on your eyes. Really worth it!

I’ve been waiting for this game for a long time. I have the first one and like it very much. I am convinced that this new version will cause me to go blind. I can barely make out whats going on. I expected this version to be even better than the first, but I guess I was incorrect. The graphics are horrible. Flo might as well be naked, because you can’t see what she is wearing anyway.

I thought Diner Dash was fun but this game is so tiny you can’t even see what the customers are asking for. My 9 year ancient nephew couldn’t even see what customers were asking for. Played 3 levels and then traded the game in to Game Stop. Dissipate of time and cash. DO NOT buy this game.

I read reviews on new DS sports meeting and this sounded like something splendid for my 9 year ancient and she has realy loved it. She says it can be hard but she is quite smart and determined.
