I use DDR to work out and the songs don’t last long enough to really get me going compared to most DDR sports meeting. Decent game, though the judges talking gets irritating, even to by pass it takes more time than need be.

Dance pad that come with this program is a pad with USB connection that only work with dancing with the stars. The pad does not work with other dance sports meeting. Dance Dance Revolution series by KONAMI are much better sports meeting.

bought this for my daughter’s christmas present. she was excited to see it but very disappointed with it when she used it. to me it is not anything like dancing. by and large it was extremely dull and I sent it back.

Not real impressed the dance mat is too hard to use and the game is not what I expected

This is WAY better than DDR. I’ve read complaints about the dance pad, but I haven’t had any issues, and in fact, I find it more open than my universal I use for DDR. Unfortunately, you cannot use this dance pad when you play DDR though, that’s my only complaint about the set. The timing of the steps with the music in this game is way better than it is in DDR and the steps don’t come across the screen at varying speeds- so you’re in fact able to learn when you need to step to get that exact score. It takes some getting used to the steps coming across the screen from both sides, but it’s really quite nice once you get used to it since it more closely resembles real dancing. The social class during the song is also far less obnoxious than in DDR- it’s simply your characters dancing. The judges comments are a bit fun at first, but they do get ancient after a while- but you can skip owing to them.
