Cruis’n USA was always one of my favorite arcade sports meeting, so I couldn’t wait to play the Nintendo 64 version of the game. When I first saw the previews for the game in Gamepro, I thought it looked like it was gonna be just like the coin-op version in the arcades. When I finally played it for the Nintendo 64, I was disappointed to say the least. The graphics and the sound are a lot like the arcade version of the game, but that’s about the only similarities I saw between the two. The control isn’t nearly as excellent as it could’ve been. The main thing I didn’t like about the Nintendo 64 version is that when another car crashes in front of you, you can easily get stuck behind them with no place to go. There is no reverse in this game, leaving you stuck behind another car in the middle of the road with no way to get around it for a few seconds.
If you used to like Cruis’n USA in the arcades, don’t reflect that the Nintendo 64 version is going to be just like it because it isn’t. I certainly wouldn’t recommend getting this game under any circumstances. If you really really want to play it, just rent it instead.

controlling da cars n this game isn’t all dat hard they have a few places i remember going 2 when playin this game they have some ok songs in this game but not enough which makes da songs that they do have n this game dull easily becasue u get tired hearin da same ancient songs i delight in hearing da lady talk a small throughout da game but it then gets irritating because u can b so close 2 winning da race then all of sudden her voice appears and slightly distracts u from winning but i like when she says welcome 2 da hall of fame when u have a excellent time after winning a race u get 2 name ur license plate no matter what u like da graphics looks like a lift movies a small mix in with 3 d but i know that this is a ancient game so i will stop my comments from further teasing da poor graphics from da game creators and that is about it all n all a excellent game that should be played as look back 2 how cars and da nation looked like n da 90s joe brown

I really don’t reflect that you should buy this game. The thought is cool, but it just makes it dumb because it has STUPID graphics. Now this is one of those sports meeting where you have basically NO control over your car, and speaking of cars, the cars are all stupid too. If you played this game with the graphics of Rush or something, I would give it a better review. But by and large, this game REALLY stinks. I don’t Recommend buying this game.
