I don’t know if anyone else experiences this but I get really asinine playing this game. There’s something about the visual effects/ coloring/ textures/ rendering/ etc. that makes me feel asinine. Don’t know what’s incorrect as I still have 20/20 vision. This game is not playable for me eventhough it may be promising. Shellshock is simpler and more playable (no squad commands though).

This game is a small step forward from the Baghdad series, the graphics though have been minorly upgraded. The gameplay is a bit frustrating though because enemies seem to shoot owing to trees and debris to kill you while you have to go closer to shoot them. For pretty much most of the game you have to keep all 4 guys together because enemies constantly come from behind and attack and your buddies just stand there and take the bullets to the back.
The game is somewhat hard and sometimes they don’t offer enough weapons, which forces some of your buddies to walk around with no ammo for some of the missions. They at least got the music and language right though, but that’s one of the few clear things about the game.
The game is definately worth renting but with many other war-sports meeting out on the market it probably isn’t worth buying.

Since I’m a Military Policeman in the Air Force (Security Forces, I would just like to say this game is total BS. Having fired the M-60 machine gun, and have seen the hurt it does first hand. I know when you shoot someone point blank with a 60 they are going down instantly. It takes about 50 rounds to kill someone in this game. Desert Storm 1 & 2 are much better than this game.

I keenly awaited the release of Conflict: Vietnam after spending way too long playing both Desert Storm sports meeting and, even better in my opinion, The Splendid Escape, all made by Gotham Sports meeting. C:V did not dissapoint.
Whilst I don’t reflect it’s a splendid deal different from C:DS2, there are still some clean new touches. At last we can pick up other weapons, fight an (semi) intelligent enemy and, best of all, issue commands.
The 14 different levels were a distinct mixed bag; Charlies Point was nearly pathetically unadorned whereas Tunnel Rats took me weeks to get past. My only other slight complaints would be the odd glitch, such as when one of your guys gets stuck somewhere for no reason and the unecessary swearing that is cliched and gets ancient after a while. Otherwise, well done Gotham Sports meeting!!

Conflict Vietnam is a excellent game. The controls are the same as Conflict Desert Storm and the missions are simpler. Its realistic. Theres even traps. If you liked Conflict Desert Storm or Conflict Desert Storm 2 you should rent or buy this game. It is worth it.
