I bought these cables last week and hooked them into my HDTV. The difference in video quality between these cables and the composite A/V cables that came with the PS2 was incredible- at first.
The cables work just fine for video sports meeting, but every time I tried to play a DVD owing to the PS2, the indicate blanked out after about three minutes of viewing, and the only way to get video back was to reset the PS2.
A 45 minute phone call with Sony tech support traced the conundrum to these cables, which did not meet Sony’s testing standards. Additionally, the Sony rep I spar with informed me that if my PS2 hadn’t already passed its warranty cycle long ago, using these cables would have voided my warranty.
Do not buy these cables. They are cheap for a reason- they do not work properly.

Although this PS 2 cord was inexpensive it only displays the PS2 sports meeting in black & white, so it is useless. Would have been nice if the company would have let us known in their item details….dissipate of cash.

I bought this cable to use with my PlayStation 3 (because PS2 cables will work with a PS3) and it works just as well as the more expensive cables. I know some reviews have stated that they had some problems, but I did not experience any. Certainly pick these up and save a few bucks over the more expensive cables.

Slow ship but the comp wire was right.I hooked it to my playstation2 works splendid!!! What a different picture with this cable like it!!!Much clearer pic and graphics!Ancient sports meeting seem new with this cable highly recommend it!!I play on a 32inch SHARP LCD HDTV!!!
