Intriguing Plot Twists
In previous sports meeting, the war between the Allies and Soviets was coming to a close with the Allies nearing victory. In desperation, the Soviets made a time-travel device that they’ve used to assassinate Albert Einstein before he is able to develop the weapon technology the Allies later use to defeat the Soviets. Upon returning, they notice a new world, and there is a world war taking place between three groups for control of the world.
Play As Three Different Factions for Varied game play
In Red Alert 3, you have the choice to play as the Allies, the Soviets, or the Empire of the Rising Sun. Each faction has its own tale-line and distinct units with advantages and disadvantages that you have to master in order to win. The new faction to the series is the Empire of the Rising Sun, derived from Imperial Japan, with an all-new cast of units and characters.
The three factions have many differences, exemplified by their wildly different types of units. The Soviets, for example, have armored attack bears, Allies have the Dolphin ship which can high jump and use a sonic attack, and the Empire of the Rising Sun features such quirky units as a giant transforming mecha and ninjas. As they’ve done with the series, EA injects humor into the game when possible, keeping a smile on your face as you wage war.
Fight on Land, in the Air, and on Sea
Red Alert 3 has land units, air units, and naval units, all integral parts of the game. Unlike most approach sports meeting that don’t bother with naval warfare, Red Alert 3 makes controlling the seas an essential part of the game. Controlling resources in the seas and mounting attacks from all directions are strategies that must be employed to realize victory.
Cooperative Mode Lets You Team Up with Your Friends
Red Alert 3 has a fully co-operative campaign mode where you and a friend can play together to realize victory. This means that you have to develop a approach together, as well as do it in synch in order to win. If your friends aren’t online, you can also choose one of several AI commanders as your partner.
Play Against Your Friends in Multiplayer
With the different units and play mechanics of each faction, you and your friends will have a splendid time playing against each other, perfecting different strategies to best suit the units you have and the maps you play on. And thanks to the balanced game play, no one will have an unfair advantage.
For previous fans of Command and Conquer, Red Alert 3 will grant the same light-hearted game play, but with more units, more strategies, and more fun. Newcomers to the game will soon see what all the fuss and laughter is about.

So tired of hearing these whiny baby’s crying about securom. Who cares. If you in fact buy the game instead of steal it then you have not anything to agonize about. I don’t plot on re-installing the game everytime I play it morons. I like red alert/command and conquer. Awesome game!! Sports meeting are gonna start having securom to play. This deters thieves. Its usually the huge weep babies are whine about it because now they can’t steal it.

Since the other people here haven’t reviewed the game just the DRM I don’t see why I need to review it either.
But the box is splendid look at it. Its got colors and that box shape. Oh look at the letters. IT ALSO HAS BEARS ON IT!!!!

I really despise all of the DRM spamming giving this splendid game a terrible rating.Ive been play ea sports meeting and the command and conquer series over the last decade and they bring me hours of enjoyment. So when i logged onto amazon to see RA3 with a 2 start rating i was like with the heck, so i read the post then chose to research for myself. I read the forum comments from the ea ceo himself about drm. It does not limit you to five installs it limits you to five authorizations meaning once you install it on your computer you can uninstall it as many times as you want but it does limit you to the number of Pc’s you can install it on but the excellent thing is you dont need the cd to run the game once you install just place the cd in a safe place. and he also said that EA has no conundrum assisting you if you use all your authorazations just call them. From a affair point of view i really know this they are protecting their investment if it was my cash and time spent making a game id do the same thing and i reflect you would. dont let your ignorance stop your from playing one of the greatest pc gamong series of all time read up on it and choose for yourself all the post reviews on this game are all incorrect about drm…..

Look, I don’t know what the whining weep-babies out there are complaining about. I’ve owned four DRM sports meeting: Far Weep 2, Mass Effect, Bioshock, and now Red Alert 3, and I’ve not had any distress. Yeah, I guess there are a few people who have, but the majority of people who in fact buy the game and play it have a splendid time! I have friends with Mass Effect, Far Weep 2 and Bioshock, and none of them have had any distress either.
Red Alert 3 is a splendid game!
The amount of effort the creators have place into the tale, social class, art and even acting is tremendous, and I’m having a blast playing it. But if you want to deny yourself many, many hours of delightful immersion because of DRM paranoia, then frankly it is your loss. Something will have to be done about secrurom and DRM at some point, I agree. EA can’t simply ignore the millions of complaints that are pouring in. But these complaints are really independent of the quality of the game they come with, and shouldn’t be mistaken for the product itself by any means.
Set in an alternate future where Einstein has been assassinated by the Russians, Red Alert 3 gives players a unique, tongue-in-cheek look at life with the Reds, and it’s truly droll.
From the moment I installed the game and started watching the intro movie, I knew I was in for a treat. With a splendid cast of actors including Tim Curry, the plot is advanced in a series of small live-action cut scenes, each acted out in a melodramatic, over-the-top manner that offers many chuckles.
The game itself is a honestly standard RTS, complete with base building, resource gathering, and unit production. Each map has tactical objectives that the player must secure, and your progress will be updated periodically with in game video pointer from the actors. The graphics are stunning: not realistic, mind you, but perfectly artistic and very colourful, with very plain details such as dynamic shadows and gorgeous water rendering. The units for the different factions are pretty unique, and come with an assortment of droll animations and comments when they receive your instructions. Armored bears, dolphins, zeppelins and mechanised Japanese transformers add humour to your arsenal, and round out the witty undercurrent of the game.
This is easily a game you’ll get involved with for hours on end, and if you can grit your teeth and bear the very unobtrusive (indeed, I didn’t know it was present until reading these reviews) DRM, then you’ll have yourself a mighty fine time.

The game itself is incredible. I took part in the Beta program, and although i can’t get buy it (being out of USA & Canada), i can say it looks incredible.
Graphics are AMAZING, more colorful, accurate and yet the whole thing looks vaguely familiar.
Presume the best classic sci-fi movie you like with today’s CGI! Its like that.
I also own Spore, and unlike you guys reflect, the DRM does NOT prevent you from installing on same hardware.
I had to reinstall Spore because my other hard-guide went kaput, but i don’t reflect i triggered the activation battle, because Windows was still the same, and same hardware.
The DRM visibly says i have 5 activations on DIFFERENT hardware. So i can clandestinely install it on up to 5 different machines at same time same key.
