This game had excellent reviews and I had splendid hopes. There is not anything better than the thrill of a new adventure game. The thrill crashed when from the very first scene the audio kept crashing. I never have heard the end of any sentence. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, sent two emails to tech support (they never got back to me) and am truly considering sending it back to Amazon as defective. This has been a huge disappointment.

I found this game quite enjoyable as was the first offering in the Chronicle Series. Although “timed-puzzles” are not really my thing; I found the rest of the game so fascinating that I couldn’t stop until I was finished. Trying to accomplish a task with only seconds on the timer can be pretty tedious but the built-in help system really helped! Just remembering to “keep at it” and “take a breather” when it starts to get taxing is the key. I’ve also learned to save at intricate places so that if I do make a mistake … I don’t have too far to go back. It’s a splendid game!

Got a gift card for xmas and got the Tree of Life and it plays very well in fact. The plot is better than the first and the graphics are as excellent. with Her Interactive and City Interactive cranking out PC adventure sports meeting at the production rate of 4 a year PC adventure sports meeting will never die out. Butt, I have not bought a full price adventure game since Dreamfall was released 4 years ago – and this game is nearly as excellent as Dreamfall at a fraction of the price.
By and large, this is a highly rated adventure game – a right masterpiece and classic PC game – much improved over the first and plays like a dream too – no bugs of any kind. City Interactive now place out the best adventure sports meeting – especially for the price.
For replay regard this game like so many adventure sports meeting like Broken Sword and Nightlong is limited – there is only one ending possible.
