First, the items are extremely small and hard to see. It’s not always clear what to do with them once they’re found. The clues are not much more helpful-when you question for a hint, stars shine over an area that supposedly has a related item or use; but, again, it’s not necessarily very helpful if you don’t know what to do in the first place.
The text is often rambling and seems like it is written by an 8 year ancient boy imagining dialogue in his head. Misspellings, grammatical errors and usage abound. It shouldn’t matter, but when I buy a game, I expect SOME quality control.
The game itself is droll and even though it is quite small, the minigames can be played after tale mode.

I loved playing the Chronicles of Mystery. I had to get some help to end the tale version. I was able to get the help without any distress.

I looked forward to playing this game inspite of some unenthusiastic reviews. Unfornutately, I found that the reviews were right. My largest disapoitment is there were too many places where the game where you would be bunged by a puzzle that didn’t seem to have a resolution and no way to go forward. You would find yourself in a place with no really clear item of what you were expected to solve and no way to find any clues.
I finally chose my time was worth more than that an toss the game!

I thoroughly loved this game except for how quick it went. I played on it
for 2 days and already beat the game, the extra’s are nice for seek-it sports meeting.
Excellent product, but I won’t buy another from this company.
Like Amazon: the package came quickly with my DS!

I have been searching for more mystery, hidden object sports meeting after loving MYSTERY CASE FILES: MILLIONHEIR, which must be the Holy Grail of this type of game, not anything else comes close.
CHRONICLES OF MYSTERY, CURSE OF THE ANCIENT TEMPLE is frustrating, makes small sense, most of the time I am not sure what I should do, so hit the clue just to know how to proceed. Too much reading, slows the game down so that there is no excitement level.
The mini sports meeting are tedious and lack challenge, unless you consider dumb luck of accomplishment challenging.
Anyway, would not recommend unless you are desperate. If anyone out there can recommend something that is closer to the Mystery Case Files: MillionHeir, PLEASE DO!!!!!
