The hype is a exact 10, it’s Castlevania a classic!!
For many gamers Castlevania died after the N64 verion, but this is Castlevania’s second chance to make it into the mainstream once again. Those who want it to be 2D are stupid, making it 2D would be like giving up and only attracting classic gamers at best. Todays major genres are all 3D in some form.
So far from the screen shots I’m not really blown away with the graphics or anything, but it looks excellent enough and Castlevania has never really been about graphics. It’s about stylishness, music, and Gameplay. It doesn’t look as excellent as Ninja Gaiden for XBOX another classic franchise making it’s long awaited return. If I had to choose between Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden, would still go with Castlevania, it’s more my type.
Also, please stop comparing this game to Devil May Weep. Devil May Weep is dead, killed by Capcom a company that was pushing for Nintendo. Capcom and Konami are huge rivals on total different sides right now. Castlevania: Lament of Innocence, is going to rock.

It features a lot of past Castlevania sports meeting and i’m sure that it will be “greates hits” for the PSX2. I could bet for it with my eyes shut!

Not many sports meeting have the global performance these Castlevania sports meeting have. Its superb on the music effects, the theme and tale line, and not to mention the 2d effect, that even though its 2d it rocks my planet.. So the new Castlevania L.O.S. will be celestial . I definetely give 5 stars to the newborn….

The game is incredible i’ve saw like 7 videos ,66 pictures ,and read tons of information on it, its going to rock .The game sports an incredible amount of enemies 70 + which is splendid for a 3d game.You can get different whips lighning ice fire ect… you cant get level ups but you can find items to increase your atack defence and others.All the enemies are back like madusa, zombies , fleamen , and axearmor and more . Graphics have splendid special effects and splendid music too.sub weapons are in it and you can combine them to orbs to get a total of 40 differnt effects in total . You learn new whip combos owing to out the game , theres a shop to buy items. Its a long game ive heard . its going to be splendid if you want to see it in action download an e3 clip of it at gametrailers .com trust me you should.

I have played and mastered Castlevania when it first came on the game scene with Nintendo (in fact i still have the game and my ancient N system). It’s a splendid play for those who like adventure sports meeting with a twist and judging from what I’ve seen , it’s going to hold up to all expectations. I’m looking forward to owning my own. One thing though, this game should have been released much earlier. What took you so long guys?
