Very disappointing – game crashes after the tutorial. I am using Outlook home premium, so do not trust Amazon when they say that it is compatible with Outlook!

I just wasted 7 bucks on a non-returnable download game, which is my first wasted cash on Amazon since 2002, when I started using it.
The game crashes on my Outlook Premium Home everytime I want to skip the tutorial mode. On my PC, it is unplayable. Well, I’m not surprised, it is a very ancient game. I should have tried the trial before purchasing. The description suggests compatibility with XP and Outlook, but it was not my case.

Build a mega-corporation by vertically integrating all the industries in the supply chain. You build the stores, the farms, the mines, and the factories. You brilliant the harvest, and set the pricing and marketing policies. You can even setup the functional layout and input/productivity of your factories. With a graphics and interface overhaul, this one could be a strong seller again. But even with it’s dated graphics, it’s head and shoulders above most of the “Industrialist” dreck that’s being churned out these days.

splendid game!! For those who experience crash after skipping tutorial mode, you just have to make a folder name “SAVE” in the main installation folder. This should fix the conundrum.

This used to be one of my favorite sports meeting back in the ancient Windows 98 days. It does work on my Outlook 32 PC though it always crashes when it closes, which isn’t a huge deal because I’m closing it anyway. It easily restarts and runs smoothly in the same Windows session without a reboot after the quitting crash. It does minimize and restore without failure for those who have more in there lives to do than just play sports meeting.
For me it’s one of those “Civilization” stylishness just one more minute kind of sports meeting – not Civ in that it’s turn-by-turn because it’s not – it’s a pausable RTS game – I just meant that it’s hard to want to stop.
10 years ago I would’ve given it 5 stars but now it’s just a small too dated for new initiates. For those who used to like it back in the day, it’s still the same fun small distraction and it does run well enough on a modern OS.
