I thought Capt. Price was killed on the Turpitz mission, how does one resurect the dead, this game has some of the finest graphics I have seen in a PC game, but it’s extremely lame.
The missions are US Marines and Brit SAS only,as if they are the only forces out there trying to do a thankless job against terrorists, there are other military forces doing that job,Navy SEALS,US Army Rangers.
I have had my COD4 since christmas, and now I am having problems with it locking up,freezing,I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it several times in an attempt to solve this conundrum,it has not worked.
I am a fan of the first three COD PC sports meeting, they are done real well, but it seems as if Infinity Ward/Activision have gone into brain phart mode with this game,it is too small, and at times the music is irritating, and Capt. Price should be in his late 80’s to early 90’s by now,and should at least hold the rank of 4 star general,if not retired to a wheel preside over, and not be doing covert missions against terrorists.
I gave this game a 1 star by and large game rating because the creators lack imagination by ressurecting Capt. Price, come on Infinity Ward/Activision I want to see more of the quality you place into your first 4 PC COD sports meeting in any future sports meeting.

CAVEAT EMPTOR!!! Or something like that.
Bought this game without knowing the system supplies. System supplies are not made clear until “after” you attempt to install the game.
Needless to say it didn’t work on my “grown-up” PC. Bought a new Sony Vaio with the required video hardware, but “PunkBuster” would not allow the game to play because it had already been “installed” on another machine.
So I’m out one $56 game. And I’ll bet Activision is laughing all the way to the bank. Had it worked I might have given it a “7″ but, since “Greed Rules,” I give it a “ZERO.”

If you want to play a excellent, absorbing, challenging FPS (or FPS-related) game, choose a Grand Theft Auto game. The best of these is San AndreasGrand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Second Edition, but IV, Vice City, and III are nearly as excellent. Call of Duty 4 is not a excellent game.
The best points about the game are the graphics (excellent) and the sound (pretty excellent); but, the only so-so–I quit about 2/3 of the way owing to–Half-Life 2Half Life 2 has better graphics and sound. Another excellent point is that the game is small. (Mind you, you’ll feel ripped off if you don’t buy the game used for US$1.75, as I did.)
The terrible points are that the game is (a) completely uninvolving, (b) has “characters” that develop in no ways, (c) chutes the player directly to where he/she is supposed to be, (d) consists entirely of levels in which you have to shoot a lot of people, (e) has an irritating automatic save and restart system with save points so close in time that there is no challenge, and (f) has no tale whatsoever.
In “Call of Duty 4,” you point and shoot some, then you’re finished. Dull.

Call of duty 2(the demo) blew me away. Small French village, nightime, search lights, dead cows, ack ack, parachute drops, German machine gun fire from the houses lighting up the darkness. All else was just less of the same. On the other hand, I’ve always been a demo junkie. Whole sports meeting bore me…… Call of Duty 4? See title.

I popped this game in and was simply able to search for servers and started playing online for about 6 hours straight with one bathroom break, ranked up to Staff Seargent. Awesome First person shooter, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON 007 Quantum of Solace !!!
