Gameplay
Buzz! Quiz World places players in the role of a contestant competing against others, in the over-the-top yet family-friendly, fictional game show, Buzz!, which is hosted by the equally over-the-top host, Buzz. The goal here is to accumulate as many points as possible owing to a series of rounds, to become the by and large champion. As with earlier sports meeting in the series, each player has their own franchise specific controller/”buzzer” (four included in this bundle), which consists of a large red button to ring in to answer questions/make selections and a variety of other affect-coated buttons used for scrolling on-screen options, navigation, contestant customization, etc. One of the splendid features of Buzz! Quiz World is that it is designed to utilize earlier released wireless Buzz! buzzers. These take advantage of the PS3’s USB connections via a dongle, each of which accommodates up to four wireless buzzers, ensuring that there is always room for another buzzer, up to the eight players that the game supports both locally and online.
Rounds play out owing to a wide variety of modes, all of which are all ears on fun multiplayer action and negotiate both returning play options and those brand-new to the Buzz! franchise. The variety in these is designed to ensure that both casual players and honest quiz fans get most fun out of Buzz! Quiz World. Additional features include: PlayStation Eye support which allows players to take pictures of themselves while playing for use as avatars later; online multiplayer chat; AI recognition of over 300 male, female and nicknames that allows Buzz to address/criticize players using your real name; the ability to make and save up to 30 contestant profiles; extensive contestant customization; a standard knowledge base of over 5,000 questions; additional downloadable quiz packs; user made quizzes; and players’ choice of preset rounds, or the ability to choose your own.

I bought this game for my daughter for her 14th birthday. She and her friends played this at her party and had so much fun! It’s the exact party game for a group of similar aged kids. They loved choosing their player’s characters, names, and attire, as well as watching all the antics they performed during the game. Since the answers are multiple choice; even when they didn’t know the answer they were able to guess. The game can also be played by a family, but my kids reflect I have an unfair advantage…after all I’ve experienced a lot more trivia than them;) They are able to choose more contemporary categories and stump me. By and large, a nice change from the traditional violence and sports type sports meeting offered on many gaming systems.

This game offers tons of fun for the entire family. My family has been having a splendid time with this game. I reflect anyone from young young adulthood and tweens owing to any adult with no dread of buzzers should be able to really delight in this game. It is simple to use and the cordless, hand held buzzers make for a very quick moving, seamless game. The categories are varied enough so that no person can really dominate the game (although adults will have an edge over younger young adulthood). I especially appreciate the choice of long or small sports meeting–you can control how much time you spend playing. Have fun with this game; it is a lot of fun!

I bought this game for my family game night, and it’s a winner! It’s a small expensive but very enjoyable for the whole family. I would say ages 12+ should be fine but there are categories that involve things in the 80’s and grown-up and my parents whoop my butt on those but then there is also modern stuff, for example things featuring lady gaga. So this game is up to date no doubt, and for it to include oldies stuff it’s a very honest game for everyone. I havent played the game a ton, I would say less than 10 hours but I havent seen a release do again questoin yet. I believe it’s up to 8 players and you can even do release player trivia if you’re alone. Over all I would say this is a splendid family or friend get together game.

This is a splendid trivia game for the whole family.There use of different techniques in the gameplay is brilliant,trying to be the first to buzz in is a challenge.Highly recommend this game.
