Gameplay
Buzz! Quiz World places players in the role of a contestant competing against others, in the over-the-top yet family-friendly, fictional game show, Buzz!, which is hosted by the equally over-the-top host, Buzz. The goal here is to accumulate as many points as possible owing to a series of rounds, to become the by and large champion. As with earlier sports meeting in the series, each player has their own franchise specific controller/”buzzer”, (not included in this game-only release), which consists of a large red button to ring in to answer questions/make selections and a variety of other affect-coated buttons used for scrolling on-screen options, navigation, contestant customization, etc. One of the splendid features of Buzz! Quiz World is that it is designed to utilize earlier released wireless Buzz! buzzers. These take advantage of the PS3’s USB connections via a dongle, each of which accommodates up to four wireless buzzers, ensuring that there is always room for another buzzer, up to the eight players that the game supports both locally and online.
Rounds play out owing to a wide variety of modes, all of which are all ears on fun multiplayer action and negotiate both returning play options and those brand-new to the Buzz! franchise. The variety in these is designed to ensure that both casual players and honest quiz fans get most fun out of Buzz! Quiz World. Additional features include: PlayStation Eye support which allows players to take pictures of themselves while playing for use as avatars later; online multiplayer chat; AI recognition of over 300 male, female and nicknames that allows Buzz to address/criticize players using your real name; the ability to make and save up to 30 contestant profiles; extensive contestant customization; a standard knowledge base of over 5,000 questions; additional downloadable quiz packs; user made quizzes; and players’ choice of preset rounds, or the ability to choose your own.

Simply a splendid trivia game with an engaging presentation. Tons of questions presented in a splendid format. The questions were a bit simple for my friends and me me, though, but the game offers the option to very easily play sports meeting made by the online community. These sports meeting are free and generally more challenging than the default questions. There are over 30,000 user-made quizzes out there to play, and the list is still growing.
While the questions for user-made quizzes are not read aloud by the announcer, the experience is generally similar. (Note that when using user-made quizzes, you play an abridged game and some rounds are skipped). At the end of each user-made question set, everyone gets to vote on how excellent or terrible the questions were — ensuring that future players get the best quizzes. It’s a wonderful system.

If you have played the Buzz game on the PS3 then you know what your in for. Only this time, they improved it. They have splendid new sports meeting and differnet ways you can play them. If you don’t like one of the sports meeting you can tell the game to skip it. Also if you download the previous sports meeting extra pacs they automatically get added to this game. Another bonus is that they added characters and got rid of some of the dull ones. Though I have to admit I miss Disco Steve!!! He was way kewl!!!!
The only down fall is that you can no long pic your name. They have a bunch of pre-selected out names like your nomal name and all. This way Buzz can call your name. Even then he doesnt get it right. I place in David, and he kept calling me Dave. I was like who is this…

This game is worth every penny but this version is meant for adults. not because of language or anything like that, but because of the questions questioned. anyone from 18 on up would be excellent. Small kids just have the knowledge. There are lots of other versions out there though.
