Product Description
Bujingai: The Forsaken City brings martial arts action and fantasy together, in a splendid 3rd-person action-adventure. In the 23rd century, humanity’s need for energy caused a disaster that killed 70% of the population. Those who lived tapped into internal sources to give themselves incredible powers. 400 years later, a rift has been opened into the demon dimension, and the fiends have invaded a small Asian city. One warrior, armed with only two swords and a knowledge of magic, will face them to rescue the survivors.

I haffen’t in fact played the game, but I’ve sat for hours reading other sites reviews, and the translated official site, and watching all the videos you can download from the site. Needless to say, I like it to death and back. I even managed to convince my dad that this release game was worth the cash its selling for, and worth the cash to buy the ps2. That is, once the ps3 is out and the ps2 is a bit cheaper.
I absolutely like everything i’ve every seen about this game.

I’ve been waiting long-sufferingly for this game since may, and it still hasen’t come out. but, the game looks intriguing enough to wait a small bit longer. Crazy action, frenzied quick paced music, and whacky lightshows all come together to make it look like a pretty addictive game. I just hope it in fact comes out before Christmas.

Well I bought this game in a day. I was browsing Gamespot and tumbled upon a video of this game, the next day I saw it at a local store so I bought it. It’s a honestly simple game and mostly you just Press your way to the end. You only have to hit 2 buttons to attack.
The only major conundrum people have is the hero. He really looks like a girl… Swordplay is colorfull (strikes of blue and green) and blurry… as if the air around the blades went. Not really worth this much, wait for around 20-30.

Okay, so its not the best game in the world, but it has Gackt in it! That alone is reason enough to get it. Though I marvel, are all the hidden easter-eggs (interviews with our beloved Gakuto) still in the english version of the game, or are they only in the japanese import? For those who dunno who Gackt is, he’s the ex vocalist for Malice Mizer and a pretty flourishing solo J-pop singer. And this is not the first time he’s been used as a model for a game character, he claims that Squall from FF7 was designed after him.
