A complete dissipate of cash. Too simple to the point of being dull. I lost interest after a few hours and haven’t played since. Gun your horse to the front and win every race. It does have footage of the 2004 BC if you want that for your pool but otherwise stay away.

this game is splendid but you just have to be a excellent horse lover to like this game. you can own up to 6 horses,train your horses, penetrate them to races, and either watch the race or race as the jockey. sometimes your horse gets injured but it always recovers. you have to win all these cups until you finally get to the breeders cup, but in order to win the classics you have to in race 8. well by and large this game is splendid and you really will only like it if you really like horses.

As someone who is a certified track rat, I had to pick this game up. Now that I have, let me tell ya, it is the next best thing to being at the track, or owning a horse yourself. For starters, the real tracks that this game has on it are spot on. I am a regular at Sam Houston Race Park, and let me tell ya, all the way down to the toll road outside the track, they have everything perfectly replicated. The racing itself is as real as it can be. From the condition of the horse, to the track conditions, it is like being right on the rail yourself. The TV stylishness cameras are wonderful as well. Throw in the full betting system, which is something I am fully used to, and having Tom Durkin calling the races, this one is the top horse racing game out there by far. While mind ya, you can not name your horses like on Dash Racer, that is something I could not care less. This game leaves GR in the dust.

O.K. people need to figure something out, why would you buy a horse racing game and expect something else, this game is intended for the person who likes horse racing and simulated horse gambling so what if you can’t name your own horse when breeding you still get to pick the sire and dame.
three positives:
1. The graphics quality is in fact surprisingly excellent
2. The racing aspect is quite challenging but if you know what your doing you are set
3. The # of actual racing venues is pretty vast
three negatives
1. It is too simple to win
2. like i said you can’t name your own horse
3. The AI horse names are repetitive

this is a excellent game for people who get frustrated all the time when they loose, this game can get booring but it is simple to win, I reflect dash racer is way too hard so, this is better. I dont like how you dont have to do anything when you race, accept when you go owing to the starting gate. the rest of the time you just have to do NOTHING! untill the end when you whip and hold the analog stick up. I hope you found my review usefull!
