Braid
- Full Game
Product Description
Braid is a puzzle-platformer, drawn in a painterly stylishness, where the player manipulates the flow of time in weird and unusual ways. From a house in the city, journey to a series of worlds and solve puzzles to rescue an abducted princess. In each world, you have a different potential to affect the way time behaves, and it is era strangeness that makes the puzzles. The time behaviors include: the ability to reverse, objects that are immune to being rewound, time that is tied to space, analogous realities, time dilation, and perhaps more. Braid treats your time and attention as precious; there is no space filler in this game. Every puzzle shows you something new and fascinating about the game world.

This game has been given a lot of praise for it’s hard puzzles. Most of them are OK, but some of them are pretty much impossible to figure out on your own. The game does not clarify the ways some of the platforms and environment function, and some small details which can be easily overlooked can wind up crushing any hope of your figuring out how to collect a puzzle piece. It would have helped to point out these type of environmental interactions in a text notification of some sort.
Also, there is one level in particular, which has a key that pretty much refuses to be carried by you, that is very inconsistent. I’ve looked at several videos on how to get a second puzzle piece with that key, and I simply cannot do it because the key keeps magically dissappearing/reappearing somewhere else, while in the various video walkthroughs it stays place.
Luckily you do not in fact NEED to collect any puzzle pieces to progress owing to the majority of the game. I believe you need to collect them all to unlock the final level though, which is why that disappearing key level is so aggravating (I still haven’t gotten it). I also didn’t really consider this game “fun” while playing it, it’s more of a real brain teasing type of game, and there really isn’t much Mario stylishness platforming with powerups and smacking lots of enemies around. If really hard puzzle-sports meeting are your thing, this would be up your alley. If you want any action at all, I’d stay away.
If you find it on the cheap on Steam or discounted on one of the videogame networks, it’s probably worth a shot just to see what all the fuss was about, since it does have some fascinating game mechanics. But, the game is pretty small, and you must collect ALL puzzle pieces to unlock the last level, and in my mind it is certainly not worth the full $15.

Buy it now while its 7.49 cuz its kinda not worth 15 bucks. unless u look at it like this. u pay 11.00 dollars to go to a 2 hr. movie. at least with this u get at least a whole days worth of gaming fun. i really do like this game though a nice brain brainteaser. make it last by not using a dang-on walkthrough. Were humans with very smart brains…not monkeys..U CAN DO IT…
P.S. I get all my sports meeting i buy from amazon free cuz i do surveys on these three sites and get amazon.com gift certs. Lightspeedpanel.com, opinionoutpost.com, and central online panel. check em out.

Braid joins Small Huge Planet on the small list of brilliant re-examinations of the classic platformer genre. Unlike LBP, the mechanics of Braid are decidedly two-dimensional. Unlike the classics of the genre, you must manipulate time in order to make your way owing to the game.
Casual gamers will probably be more at home with LBP. People who caringly remember the 8-bit classics will be able to better appreciate the point of Braid and the unique twists it adds.

This is one of the most creative puzzle sports meeting to date. It makes you really reflect. Once you figure out all the puzzles, but, there isn’t much incentive to go back to replay the stages. For $10, it’s certainly a must play game.
