one of the worst sports meeting to ever come to consle was by far Blade on the playstation, but fortunate for all of the people who disliked the original version, Activision remade it and ported to the GBC. Although it is better, it did suffer from some problems that really hurt the experiance as a whole, so here you go my review on Blade.
Tale: Blade, a parasite hunter who is half human and half parasite, all of their strenghts, but none of their weaknesses… except for the thirst. These powers come to him only from the terrible loss of his mother, who was bitten by a parasite before her death and birth of her son, Blade. Blade has now dedicated his life to the investigation of the parasite who bit and killed his mother, after so many years he has found him, Deacon Frost. Unfortunatly, before he can bring vengence upon Frost, a new clan has appeared wearing a mysterious tattoo, they have been deemed the New Bloods, a group of vampires recently turn by the bite.
Graphics: the graphics are really colorful, but are also very bland, the don’t hold up to the graphical level that the GBC has to offer.
sound: mostly a loud rock soundtrack that can really get on your nerves because they are all just so loud and irritating. The weapons sound decent, and the sound of your fist crushing a blood-thirsty parasite’s face in isn’t as satisfying as it should be.
Gameplay: varied but still very lacking. there ae three different styles of play, sword fighting, kung-fu, and gun battles. as unfortunate as it is, they are all just so frustratingly hard that you can’t delight in them. If I had to choose, the gunslinging is the best. The worst thing is that all you do is press the same button the entire time, my thumb is killing me!
My conclusion is that if you do like the Blade sports meeting you should give it a go, but I would reflect twice if you’re looking for a solid game to keep you going, I’m not saying its terrible, but by no means am I saying its excellent.

Blade for the GameBoy Affect is yet another 2-D basic side scroller which would be practically generic were it not for the fact of the Blade license. Playing as Blade, you have control over a very small array of weaponry, and you run from side to side taking on a horde of vampires and beasts; all of which amounts to at least 45 minutes of gameplay. There’s no replay regard to Blade, and the bosses are simple to beat. The graphics are colorful and are standard GBC graphics, while the control is simple to get the hang of. This might be worth a rental at best for fans of Blade, but besides that this one belongs on the shelves.

this game was not so excellent. it had a lack of wepons. only 4 or 5. it was very small. with 7 levels i beat it in an hour. the bosses were very simple and your statas advences to quickly. i don’t see how this game has any connectionwith the movie. i wouldn’t buy it if i were anyone

Blade is a game with nice graphics and control and the battles with bosses are cool (you get to block and slash with a sword) and the concept and gameplay is quite original, complete with attribute upgrades. The only conundrum with that game is it’s too small. It took me like 45 minutes to beat it. But, the game has quite some replay regard so it won’t be a dissipate of cash at all, it is so well done.
