If you’re ancient enough to remember, Biker Mice From Mars was a comic book and cartoon series from the 90’s that featured three martian mice brothers taking down baddies on Earth. Yeah, it was basically a Ninja Turtles rip-off back then, and it still is today, and for some odd reason now, we get this beyond terrible video game adaptation to hark back us of that. The first thing you’ll notice is the choppy frame rate which marrs the bland backgrounds and areas. But this gets overshadowed by the overly dull beat ‘em up gameplay that is so uninspired and just plain lame to boot. There are also times when you’ll be riding said motorcycles, which highlight the game’s sloppy controls. Combine all that with the incredible amount of load times and how small the game is, and you get yet another cruddy licensed game for the PS2 that is better suited for the scrap heap. Do yourself a favor; no matter how fond memories you may have of the ancient cartoon (if you liked it that is), Biker Mice From Mars for the PS2 should be avoided at all costs, so don’t even dissipate your time.
