Ok, I’ve never been much into flight simulator sports meeting and I’m only halfway done with AC6 but I just had write this review because of how terrible the tale mode is for this game.
The planes are fun and look excellent, the missions are fine and I have no problems with the by and large game play… But the tale and voice acting in the cut scenes are so terrible that I can’t stand it.
It’s like the script was written by an youthful monkey on a braille typewriter. The dialog is horrible from the first word that’s spoken and is delivered by characters who have not anything to do with the actual game.
It would be nice if the tale in fact followed the character that I’m supposed to be playing, but instead it follows some lady looking for her kid, some Russian guy with a limp and basically anyone else who doesn’t glide a fighter plane and isn’t the main character.
Ahhh! It’s just terrible and every time someone talks in this game I just want to eject from my cockpit and let the terrible guys win.

After AC4, the AC series took a honest nosedive and this entry is a exact example of the ongoing low quality of the newer titles. The tale shape have gotten oh-so-inane and the characters — especially their dialogue — seem like they’ve been made for three-year-olds. But we don’t play sports meeting like this for the tale, we’re looking for realistic action, and this game misses that target huge time. Instead of stressing actual battle characteristics, the developers have made impossible situations (really, flying aircraft carriers?) that simply do not engage the player. The graphics are fine but the incredibly goofy missions just make this game look asinine, and the sheer implausibility of the situations (a plane with a payload of 125 missiles?) make AC6 a throwaway. The uneven degree of difficulty of opponents makes frustration because you don’t know from one mission to the next whether you’ll be battling nitwits or supermen. I would advise all but the under-eight crowd to avoid this game.

The game starts off well. It’s immersive and entertaining. The graphics are stunning and the music adds a nice touch. But, this game all of a sudden cascade flat on it’s face. I did not play the other sports meeting. I’m new to the series, but not to flight sims, arcade or not. The game made for a fun experience but then it just becomes nearly impossible. The alerts for incoming missiles becomes so irritating that I thought about throwing my controller for the first time in 20 years. The wingmen and the rest of your squadron are completely useless. The wingman also doesn’t shut up the entire time. It’s such a disappointment because you go from an resolution winner, to some of the worst gameplay in recent memory. A game is supposed to be challenging, not ridiculously repetitive and aggravating. Also, don’t even bother paying attention to the tale. It has all the cliches of a terrible writing and voice acting. Just skip it all together and play the missions.
Fans of the game will probably like this game, but if you’re new to it, be warned. It’s pretty and fun for a while, then cascade apart.

if you have played any AC sports meeting before you will like this game. tale is dumb so i always skip it. i beat the game on normal now effective owing to expert. played online for a small while. its really quick game play online.
the one thing that is driving me crazy is the fact that i pre-ordered this game a month ahead of time as well as COD4. i got the game nearly 2 weeks after the game was released. i will NEVER PRE-ORDER AGAIN FROM AMAZON!! COD4 has an estimated ship date 4 days after the release. i pre-ordered GH3 but selected a different company and got the game the day after the release. i dont know why its taking so long.

This is a splendid game, but the tale is unadorned, too unadorned. The plot is sometimes touching, but mostly plain.
The graphic is fantastic. I’ll recommend to get a widescreen LCD, the graphic detail will look incredible.
