I can’t clarify why it happened, but the bottom line is that this cable never worked for me, although Amazon sent me a second cable after I questioned them if it fits my PAL Wii.
My question to the provider was not answered, so I had to return both cables.

Noticable more crisp and clear that the cables that came with game, but probably not as excellent as component cables.

If you don’t have a tv that has component (Red, Blue Green) cables, this is for you. I bought this by reading reviews & it is much better then the RCA golden-haired composite ones that comes w/the Wii.
The Nintendo channel videos are MUCH better by a long shot & I also switched the cables back/forth during a paused Nintendo video of a DS game trailer, I could read the words on that game a bit better.
Edit: 10.2009 – still no problems.
